I knew this Monster Ball would be super special just by the date it was on…. GAGA’S BIRTHDAY!! The itinerary for the night included glitter, celebration, love, equality, and freedom, exactly what my whole life is about.  This contest was kind of a blessing in disguise. I got to do what I love to do most (interview/vlog) at my favorite place ever (the monster ball) with some of my favorite misfits (little monsters)!! I have attended The Fame Ball and two Monster balls, and I must say it was amazing seeing it all from a different perspective. I love meeting little monsters and sharing our experiences and love with each other and this got me closer to them than ever!

Lets start from the beginning. I got to the Staples Center at around 5:00 pm-ish and met up with Dannielle (who, by the way is one of the coolest people ever!). I got to go onto the Lady Gaga Virgin Mobile bus. I thought it was quiet funny because I never knew there were people on the bus. We chatted it up a bit, then headed inside. I got to meet the talented Virgin Mobile crew and even got my photo taken in the Virgin Mobile booth. The time came for Little Monsters to start running in. It was so amazing seeing everyones outfits. They ran to the photo booth and of coarse I was there to catch them for a few questions. I loved watching them model while getting their photos done. We have some pretty fierce monsters in LA. I got to meet some Little Monsters who were just attending their first show and some who were up to their third show. I loved how everyone was so excited either way. Everyone I talked to were so nice and looked amazing.

Once the Scissor Sisters came on I decided to go down into the pit for a little to watch them. It was my first time seeing them live and they were so much fun! When I got down to the pit the first person I saw was the one and only Nicola Formichetti!! I went up to him and I told him that I am such a huge fan of his work. He has always reminded me of my best friend Fabian. Fabian is my Nicola to my Gaga. I was asking Nicola if he had a thing for pandas (because he ALWAYS posts photos up of pandas on his tumblr) and his response was “I WANT ONE!!”. I couldn’t stop laughing. He was talking to me about tumblr and the Scissor Sisters. I cannot even explain how excited I was to meet him. Its ironic because prior to the show I kept thinking how much I wanted to meet Nicola and talk about pandas haha. I didn’t get a chance to take a photo because it was too dark and we were enjoying the show far to much, but it was a honor meeting him.

Then the one beat that can make my heart drop down to my toes came on. You all know exactly what I am talking about… IM. IM IM IM A FREE BITCH BABY. This means the Monster Ball has started. During the show I was wondering the crowd and checking out peoples reactions. I love the glow the audience has while watching Gaga. You can tell they are free and there is no negativity going through their brains. I felt everyones hearts pounding to the same beat. It was an amazing feeling to actually stop and look around.

After a few songs it was time to meet and video tape the winner of the Little Monster who got a phone call from Gaga. Ian was so nice and so excited. His conversation to gaga was really inspirational and nice. I loved that he could keep his cool while talking to her in front of a stadium full of people. That is until she asked him to meet her after the show. I thought he was going to fall down the stairs in his platform nude shoes (which were amazing by the way ;]) I had to run after him through the hall ways because he was running around screaming. It was such a special moment.

This Monster Ball was my first time ever seeing Born This Way live! I was so excited! Something amazing happened during the performance. All night I was alone in the crowd because all my friends had tickets in different sections, but during Born This Way I look straight in front of me at someones jean vest and then I notice it is one of my close friends PAULINO! (we have had a lot of gaga moments together). Only fate could do that. I was so happy to celebrate this song with a good friend. We even got to sing happy birthday to Gaga at the end together!

Over all it was an amazing night. Gaga brings me so much joy and opportunities, and the funny thing is she has no idea!! I loved working with Dannielle and the Virgin Mobile crew. I cannot wait to see you all again at the Monster Balls in Florida! If you are going to any Monster Balls please go by and say hi to them, they are such talented and amazing people.

Thank you everyone for helping me with this dream.

Ooh there aint no other way <3
